'Deadpool' movie news: Hugh Jackman open working with Ryan Reynolds

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine20th Century Fox release

Hugh Jackman knows how Marvel fans are eagerly awaiting "Deadpool" which will star Ryan Reynolds, and apparently he is too. In fact, during an interview segment at MTV UK, he bared that he would be open to the idea of him starring alongside good friend Ryan Reynolds in what should be a reunion of sorts for the two.

For Marvel followers, Deadpool is no stranger to Wolverine. In fact, they are enemies dating back to the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" movie when both were together under the Weapon X program.

Deadpool was someone known for ruthless killings, using his mutant powers to take down soldiers and civilians. And apparently that onslaught did not sit well with Logan aka Wolverine.

At the moment, Jackman is working double time as he attends shooting for "X-Men Apocalypse" and "Wolverine 3." And while earlier rumors suggest that Jackman would be ending his Wolverine role, it looks like he has had a change of heart. Now he claims he wants to portray the role until he dies.

As far as Deadpool is concerned, Jackman believes that Reynolds has played the part perfectly. And considering that Fox is doing it on a limited budget, "Deadpool" seems to be an interesting movie to look out for. Could it be another low-cost production from Marvel that could shatter records in the box office?

Aside from Deadpool, another familiar name is set to debut soon. This will be Gambit (Channing Tatum). Once both characters are launched, expect them to be integrated into future X-Men films.
