Dancing with the Stars' Sadie Robertson finds strength in God; sticking to 'appropriate' outfits for the show

For a girl who has barely danced in public before Dancing With The Stars, Sadie Robertson is pulling out some show-stopping performances with her partner Mark Ballas.

The outfits - and the dances - can get a little raunchy on DWTS - but Ballas says there are some clear limits in place for 17-year-old Duck Dynasty star Sadie, a devout Christian.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the dancers themselves have "ultimate control" over what and how much their outfits reveal.  And that was backed up by Ballas who said that in real ballroom competitions the sexy outfits are designed by the dancers themselves.

"This show has turned this outfit thing into a stereotype," said Ballas. "If you went to a real ballroom competition, of course there are sexy outfits ... but every time you see someone on stage in one of those outfits, they chose to wear that. They designed it ... that was all their idea."

Ballas added: "I like to keep things a little bit more about the dancing. Make it sassy, make it fun, make it cute and sexy at times, but with [Sadie] it's going to be very appropriate and it's always going to be comfortable. That's my bottom-line rule."

Sadie's certainly been taking every opportunity to drum up support for Team Quack Attack on her Twitter page.

Sadie previously revealed that she was packing her daily devotional book - a gift from her mom - to take with her when she headed to LA for DWTS.

But in spite of what must be a crazy training and rehearsal schedule she still manages to find the time to share some verses from the Bible with her fans.

It may have been show day yesterday, but Sadie took a moment to share Colossians 3.23: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for man."

And she followed it up today by giving some words of encouragement to people going through hard times.
