The comeback of Tony Romo has reinvigorated this Dallas Cowboys team and they will fell they still have time to turn their season around and claim the NFC East title.

In almost any other season, coming into Week 12 on 3-7 would leave little to no chance of claiming a division title, but this year an extremely weak NFC East, with all teams struggling with below par records, means that the Cowboys are still in with a shout.

However, even with Tony Romo back, most would feel that a high flying Carolina Panthers may be a challenge too far for them. Cam Newton and co. have been on fire all season long and it would take an epic performance from the Cowboys to take them down.

Dallas will be looking to build on their first victory in two months, and the affect of Tony Romo in the team would clearly apparent in their win last week in his comeback game.

Romo missed seven games through a broken collarbone, and in that time the Cowboys went on a seven game slide. But in his return game, Romo went 18 of 28 for 227 yards and two touchdowns as the Cowboys defeated the Miami Dolphins 24-14.

Romo was clearly far from his best, but his influence on his entire team was clear, and the fact that there is a lot more to come from him is a big cause for optimism for the Dallas fans.

With Romo in the team, the Cowboys are undefeated this season, but either that record or the Panthers' undefeated record must go today.

Tight end Jason Witten said, "We're excited to have him back. He brings great energy. He's the leader of our team."

Safety Barry Church added, "I just feel like we had one of our best players back in Romo. That had a heck of a lot of difference."
