Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan is dealing with a lot of issues in life—from lawsuits to a leaked sex tape and a racist rant, his list of controversies seems never ending.

However, the self-confessed Christian convert said all those things are in his past as he claimed to have found peace in God.

On his Twitter account (@HulkHogan), the wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, wrote: "In the storm I release control, God and his Universe will sail me where he wants me to be, one love. HH."

He even posted a picture that read, "God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers." Hogan then wrote: "This is how I feel today, with friends, family, and the greatest fans in the world, 'MANIACS' that never left me. Unless you went through this, true loyalty and love (have) a different meaning, it makes you want to live and not die. For those that never left me, I am forever grateful and love you with all my heart (and) life."

He then retweeted several of his fans' comments, pictures, and messages of support. His fans, who call themselves "Hulkomaniacs," said they believe he is not really a racist, despite his earlier reported rant.

"We know you're not racist! Ignore the press and haters, we love you brother!!" a user named Ethan Morley wrote. Others told him to "keep your head up through these horrid times."

In a controversial audio tape that recently came out, Hogan is heard making lots of racist rants, with him saying the "N" word several times. He claimed that the tape, together with a leaked sex tape, was made back in 2006, before he converted to Christianity, and he regrets ever saying it.

"Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologise for having done it," he said, according to Breathe Cast.
