Canadian pop star Justin Bieber undoubtedly has a lot of fans, but he has quite a number of bashers too. One of his celebrity bashers include Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger, who spoke to Australian radio station Sophie Heath & Normy of 106.9 NXFM and said that his fellow Canadian artist should be "ashamed" of all the wild things he has done.

"I think that he's going to look back at this time in his life and he's going be ashamed of the things that he's done, it's really too bad because he is talented and it's just a bit of a let down," he said.

Kroeger said he thinks it's wrong to give someone as young as Bieber so much wealth and privilege. "You've got to be careful when you're handing someone that young the keys to the kingdom and when you give someone that young that much money to do whatever you want to do, things are going to run amok and we're all going to get to stand back and watch the wheels fall off the train," he said.

Reports of Bieber's notorious antics include being convicted for vandalism for pelting a neighbour's house with eggs, being arrested for driving under the influence, smoking pot, and getting into brawls.

But Bieber has recently apologised for his bad behavior and has taken steps to turn his life around and revive his music career.

On his Instagram account (@justinbieber), the singer wrote, "Life is not about having fun, it's about being fulfilled. What's more fun than knowing your purpose and being encouraged because you went the extra mile to help someone else?"

He has been more active in attending worship services and taken a more active role in charitable functions too. Kroeger said that he hopes Bieber will grow up into an outstanding person despite his past.

"I really wanted him to turn into kind of a Justin Timberlake - very funny, very caring, a really good person," he said.
