The seventh season of "Castle" is reported to have a new killer next season.

The new executive producer, David Amman, revealed to TV Line that the production crew will prepare a fun episode, which is one of the first four episodes. The show runner added that they have to "deal with what seems to be an invisible killer -- and the characters take a lot of pleasure in that."

According to reports, Rick Castle is doing very well after the car crash shown in the final episode of season 6. The reports further speculated that Bracken and 3XK were behind the fatal car accident.

Meanwhile, he also revealed some spoilers about Castle and Beckett's romance. "We are as committed to their relationship as Castle and Beckett are - they are deeply in love and they have overcome a great many challenges already. So whatever [has happened] is not going to tear them apart. If anything, it will make them stronger," he announced at the Television Critics Association summer press tour.

Amidst the great change and transition on the hierarchy behind the camera, "Castle" is returning for season 7 picking up where it left off last season.

There is a big change on the show runners of the show as the show's creator Andrew W. Marlowe stepped down as the executive producer of the series. He was replaced by David Amann who will assume control over the series. Marlowe will still be part of the show behind the scenes; however, his responsibilities were decreased significantly.

His wife and writer for Castle, Terri Edda Miller, reassured worried fans on Twitter. "For those expressing concern: @andrewmarlowe & I aren't leaving #Castle. Still here full time [for season seven]. Amann's just assuming more responsibility," Miller tweeted.

The writer promised that the storyline will remain intact to appease the viewers. Thus, fans do not have to worry that the change in the upper management will affect the storyline of the series.

"Castle" Season 7 is slated for a September 29, 2014 premiere.
