Carman weighs in on Creflo Dollar's request to buy a new jet

Carman weighs in on Creflo Dollar's million request to buy a new jet.

In an effort to get closer to his fans, Christian singer Carman Domenic Licciardello created a Q&A portion on his Facebook page where fans can throw him some questions and he will answer back. Some asked him personal questions such as the singer's thoughts on marriage, while others enquired what his typical day is like.

One fan named Cat Aversano, on the other hand, asked about Carman's opinion of popular American televangelist Creflo Dollar and his asking for $65 million in order to buy a new jet.

The singer chose to give the benefit of the doubt, saying that "it's hard to answer that unless you know what he is using it for."

Carman mulled how many people the jet intends to transport, and how many times a month it would be used. He also contemplated the travel needs and budget of the entire ministry, and whether they carry their own equipment and other important things.

"Without the knowledge of these things we don't know if it's valid or not. But I will say this. Typically, if any organisation is international and moves around a large crew to service thier events, its much cheaper to own a jet then to constantly buy 1,000's of airfares for travel. That is usually why any large company has a jet," he said.

Carman said that he does not know Creflo, nor is he aware of his ministry's needs and that is why he doesn't "know enough to comment one way or the other."

Whenever Carman and his team go on tours, they travel on the road, and the singer said that their touring days are actually pretty routinary. "We leave after each concert by bus and travel all night to the next destination. Sleep in a bunk, wake up and check into a hotel until I leave for sound check," he shared.
