'Candy Crush Soda Saga': Game takes over New York City, mobile gaming, and social media

As expected, "Candy Crush Soda Saga" is currently taking over mobile gaming as well as the Newsfeeds of Facebook users. Also, gamers are starting to send and receive requests through their Facebook accounts. 

King Digital Entertainment developed the new mobile game craze "Candy Crush Soda Saga," which is a new variation of the top-grossing game. The game app is now available in Apple's App store and Google Play. Gamers can also play the game on Facebook. 

This new game features a different experience with fizzing magical purple soda. This is meant for "Candy Crush Saga" fans looking for new challenges in the game. 

"Candy Crush Saga" has been a staple game in the apps section in the App Store and Play Store, being downloaded and played by almost everyone. Its recorded gameplay is equal to 71 times the current population of the world.

The launch of the new game was celebrated in two major cities. New Yorkers were shocked at the sight of city streets transformed into "Candyland" oozing with purple soda with a huge floating Candy Bear for the launch of the new mobile game craze "Candy Crush Soda Saga." Broadway also featured a soda-drenched taxi cab and men with Candy masks as well as actress Molly Sims. 

"New York is such a great setting to celebrate the launch of Candy Crush Soda Saga. It is a perfect backdrop to bring to life the key elements of the new game, Candy Crush Soda Saga - Soda, Candy Bears, colour, magic and lots of fun! We hope our players are as entertained by it as they are by our games," said King's Chief Marketing Officer Alex Dale. 

King also celebrated the unveiling of the new game app in London which featured giant floating Candies and a massive radiating Candy Bear that lit up the River Thames under Tower Bridge. The event was attended by singer Nicole Scherzinger. 

Meanwhile, King's marketing video posted and shared in Facebook was viewed by 100 million people, which makes it one of the most successful marketing campaigns in the social networking site.
