"The View" host and "Fuller House" actress Candace Cameron Bure is proud to be an American, and she believes that Americans must use their freedom to show God just how much they are thankful for all the blessings He has given them.

"We all have a vote," she tells FOX411. "I think that is why this country is so great because we all do have a voice here, and we have the chance for opportunity here. We have the ability to love God here. I don't ever want to see that taken away from us. We have freedom here – that is what makes America so great, and that we have people that are willing to fight for that freedom on a daily basis."

Bure believes she lucked out because her parents were born in America, and she and her siblings were born in America as well. "That's really the luck of the draw, right? We can't say where we are going to be born. But at the same time, my husband [Valeri Bure] is an immigrant. He is Russian, and he came here and became an American because it is such a wonderful country. There is no other country I would want to be a citizen of," she gushes.

On the other hand, Bure is saddened by the direction America is heading towards to as reflected in the ongoing presidential campaign. Despite being a Republican, Bure does not like the party's presumptive nominee, Donald Trump.

She earlier said that this year's race has turned into "a bit of a circus," and it's all because of the "tactless" business magnate. "You know, I'm really looking at everyone this year. I really am," she admitted to Fox News. "I don't know who I am going to vote for at this point, I honestly don't, but I will pray about the decision."
