The Brooklyn Nets continue to look for potential suitors for their high-salaried players and right now the player in focus is Joe Johnson.

The 33 year old Johnson is reportedly gaining interest from the Charlotte Hornets and team owner Michael Jordan is reportedly interested in acquiring the NBA veteran. But to do so, the Hornets could be unloading some of their key personnel led no less by the underachieving Lance Stephenson.

The Hornets and the Nets are reportedly in talks for Johnson and Stephenson. But per Yahoo Sports Adrian Woknarowski, Marvin Williams and Gerald Henderson could be included in the deal for Johnson.

The Nets are actively dangling their players to interested suitors. Deron Williams and Brook Lopez are on the block and teams have been inquiring about the two players.

Lopez has been on the radar of teams such as the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and the struggling Los Angeles Lakers while Deron Williams has gained some interest from the Houston Rockets. To date however, nothing has materialized but such could take shape as the NBA trade deadline fast approaches.

For Charlotte, it is no secret that Jordan has been disappointed on how Stephenson has turned out. The former Indiana Pacer who is best known for blowing on the ear of Lebron James last year saw his market value skyrocket but has so far fumbled due to various reported injuries.

Like Johnson, Lopez and Williams, Stephenson is also being shopped around. However, it remains to be seen which team would be willing to take the risk on the colorful Stephenson after his lackluster performance after a breakout year with the Pacers.
