Bringing Up Bates star Erin Bates thinks a Duggar-Bates wedding is 'inevitable somewhere down the line'

Erin Bates, the third of Kelly and Gil Bates' children, has said that marriage between a Bates and a Duggar is something that is "inevitable."

With the friendship and close interaction that the two families have, an "attraction" between two of their family members is highly likely to blossom in the future, she thinks.

The Duggar family, of reality show 19 Kids and Counting, are loved by their fans for having conservative Christian values and an adorable family. The Duggars and the Bates family, both of which have 19 kids, shared the same family values and fans of both shows will be thrilled to know that the two families are open to the possibility of a Bates-Duggar wedding in the future.

"I personally think, hey you have 19 kids on each side, I think it's almost inevitable somewhere down the line. As much as we see each other, I think there's going to be an attraction somewhere. I don't know where yet, but I think it's gonna happen," Erin told ET in an interview.

Erin's interview with ET focused on her much awaited pregnancy. She is now 23 weeks pregnant with husband Chad Paine. After a number of miscarriages in the past due to Erin's blood-clotting medical condition, her years of struggling to conceive finally ended in January.

In the fourth episode of UP Original Series, it was revealed that Erin and Chad are finally expecting their first child and the Bates family's third grandchild.

The Bates family, from the hills of East Tennessee, are devout Christians. On the family's official blog, they describe themselves as a large family who believe that only people and God's word will last in life.

"God said children are a blessing, and not wanting to miss out on any blessings, our family began to grow! Our precious children have taught us that money is not only riches in life," the family wrote on their blog.

The family believes that money won't last and Gil and Kelly Bates are raising their children to have the same values. "Our goal is to train up our children in the ways of the Lord that they might enter workplaces, churches, and homes as soldiers for Christ and servants to all," they said.
