Backstreet Boys’ Brian Littrell will be embarking on his first tour as a solo artist this summer in promotion of his recent Reunion Records release Welcome Home, which has already climbed to No. 9 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums as of this week.

Of the tour, which kicks off in New York City on June 11, Littrell says, “I can’t wait to get out on the road and perform these songs live. They mean a lot to me and I’m excited to get to share them with live audiences.”

Littrell can expect packed houses if fans are as eager to hear his songs live as they have been to hear them on the radio, with Welcome Home’s first single and title track moving up six spots to No.10 on this week’s R&R Christian AC Indicator. On the making of Welcome Home, Litrell likened the experience to, “a dream come true,” and has said that he hopes the album will, “encourage people to stand up for what they believe.”
