Bobbi Kristina Brown's father, Bobby Brown, told the audience at his concert on Saturday that his 22-year-old daughter is awake.

Brown made the announcement on stage in Grand Prairie, Texas, and his declaration was caught on video.

"I can say today, Bobbi is awake. She's watching me," he told the crowd.

Bobbi Kristina was found face-down in a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia on January 31. She was revived by CPR, and was placed in a medically-induced coma..

Reports say Bobbi was found by a friend, Max Lomas, and that life-saving measures were begun by her boyfriend, Nick Gordon. Brown and Gordon grew up together and went public about their relationship following her mother Whitney Houston's death.

Bobbi was moved to a rehab centre in Atlanta last month, and the facility has not commented on her condition. An attorney for Bobby Brown also declined comment.

Cissy Houston, grandmother of Bobbi Kristina and mother of Whitney Houston, gave her first interview regarding her granddaughter's condition last month.

The 81-year-old asked fans to continue to pray for Bobbi's recovery, and said that she feels the support the family has received around the world.

"I feel every bit of it," Houston told WBLS 107.5 FM. "I truly do."

The former gospel singer said that in asking for God's intervention, she does not repeatedly pray for a miracle.

"I don't pray like that," she explained. "I give it to God one time, because I know he's able. And I cannot change a thing. I'm asking everybody: 'Just pray to the Lord who we know CAN do something about it.'"

While remaining hopeful that Brown will recover from her critical condition, Houston remained realistic, and surrendered the situation to the will of God.

"If He works a miracle, thank God," she said. "If it happens the other way, I'm alright."
