It turns out that Blackberry Venice, an Android-based Blackberry smartphone isn't just a part of someone's imagination.

The live photos of Blackberry Venice should silence rumors that an Android-based Blackberry phone will not exist, as reported in PC World.

Based on the latest published report as seen in Techrum, there were images of the Venice, which has a keyboard that slides out below the screen.

The new leaked images seem to corroborate those that were released in previous leaks back in July and August.

It was also reported by PhoneArena that its reader has confirmed the existence of Venice, stating that he already used the Android-based phone.

Based on PhoneArena's source, Venice will have a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution and a 3 GB RAM. With these specs, the device could surely compete with the big names in the smartphone industry.

All the talks about Venice indicate that it will be a really powerful device, so people shouldn't expect less from it.

For the camera, Venice is said to have an 18-megapixel rear camera. The source even described Venice to be an "amazing device," and that it has very impressive security features.

The image sent over to PhoneArena revealed that Venice will have a slide out QWERTY keyboard, the usual for Blackberry smartphones.

The leaked images of Venice also showed that it has curved edges, much like Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which is awesome for those who are fans of this particular design.

On the more serious side of the specs, word has it that the Android-based smartphone will run on a Snapdragon 808 SoC processor with a hexa-core 1.8GHz central processing unit (CPU) as well as an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit (GPU).

Blackberry Venice soon enough may not carry the same name once it will be launched.

PhoneArena reported that Venice will be offered by the top U.S. carriers by November.
