Ben Seewald joins Planned Parenthood debate, denounces abortion as murder

Ben Seewald, the religious husband of reality star Jessa Duggar of "19 Kids and Counting," has joined the raging debate on the controversy hounding abortion service provider Planned Parenthood. A series of undercover videos showed Planned Parenthood officials casually talking about harvesting of baby parts taken from mothers who underwent abortion, and then purportedly selling these parts to medical researchers.

On his Facebook page, Seewald asked: "Have any of y'all watched the undercover Planned Parenthood videos?"

It has received hundreds of comments, with majority of the people actually taking the side of Planned Parenthood.

"It's been proven to be edited and spliced as an attack against Planned Parenthood," Angela Kruger Ferriman wrote, to which Seewald replied: "Don't you love conspiracy theories?"

But Lily Kresge disagreed, informing Ben that "the pro-life movement is constantly churning out faux studies and false data and statistics."

"I'm still pro-choice," she added. "They aren't selling fetal parts. They are recouping the costs associated with procuring, storing, and transporting fetal parts."

Seewald then urged her to study the "biology of her statements," saying "I'd like to see some actual scientific/medical texts that state clearly that the unborn don't feel physical pain. I recall reading otherwise."

Meghann Buehner agreed with Ben, saying that nothing has been proven yet although Planned Parenthood should be ashamed of themselves. "How can we not unite against the harvesting of dead baby parts for a profit?!?! What is wrong with us?" she questioned.

If there is one thing that Seewald said that he will not tolerate, then that is abortion. He wrote on the Seewald Family Blog that he has a passion for defending the rights of the unborn, and he thinks that abortion is murder, plain and simple. "I will not stand by and do nothing while unborn human beings are daily being brutally sacrificed on the bloody altar of human convenience," he wrote.
