A new patch for the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" aims to finally fix the problems that have been present in the game ever since it was launched.

The new patch, coming courtesy of both Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Rocksteady Studios, is the first one for the game.

The patch will work on several issues concerning the game, including one bug that led to the game's rain effects being disabled. It will also fix ambient occlusion within the game, according to Gamespot.

Other problems the first patch aims to fix includes a crash that would often take place whenever players tried to exit the game. Another problem that caused the game to crash whenever a player would turn off Motion Blur will also be addressed by the patch.

Some players have also reported a bug that led to Steam downloading the game yet again whenever it attempted to verify the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client.

Warner Bros. Community Admin Yorick has also indicated that the team behind the game intends to continue to release patches for "Batman: Arkham Knight" as long as problems persist on the PC version.

Aside from the issues that would already be addressed via the patch, there are still other aspects of the game, specifically its visuals, that are causing problems for players. Warner Bros. said they will use as many resources as needed to finally get rid of the problems. 

The problems with the PC version of "Batman: Arkham Knight" have reached the point where Warner Bros., the game's publisher, has been forced to suspend sales of it until the issues have been ironed out. 

According to Ubergizmo, the console versions of "Batman: Arkham Knight" have not suffered from the issues and appear to have been made very well.

Warner Bros. has also enlisted the help of Nvidia to handle some of the QA and technical assistance duties required for the game. The game's publisher also said they have their best engineers working on fixing the problems.
