Finally, word is out about the new updates for the much-awaited installments in the "Assassin's Creed" series – "Assassin's Creed Unity" and "Assassin's Creed Rogue."

For quite a while, PC users have been requesting for a Windows-compatible version of "Assassin's Creed Rogue." Although no official announcement has been made by game developer Ubisoft, fans are crossing their fingers to get a hold of the upcoming game in their preferred console after a listing for the game was included in the official page of Uplay Reward.

Also, their hopes have been fueled by Assassin's Creed associate producer Karl Von Der Luhe, who mentioned that Ubisoft is seriously considering coming up with a PC version for Rogue after they got a lot of requests for it. As of now, the game will be exclusively released in Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 editions on Nov. 14, 2014.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft's official Assassin's Creed website posted a report about the final developments of "Assassin's Creed Unity." Christophe Rossignol, the associate level design director for the game, offered a glimpse of what is in store for the players regarding the Co-op Missions of the game.

According to the director, the main idea behind the co-op game is to provide freedom for all the players. He went on to further explain, "If you look at the past ACs, mostly when you are playing a mission, it's like 'go over there, open that door, follow that guy and kill him.' You know, it was really like breadcrumb objectives... so the first thing we did was remove those mid-path objectives so players could do what they want."

This procedure proved to be a challenge for level designers of the game. He said that they have to break free from their normal procedures to let the players make their way around the game. They just have to provide a background so that those who will play will have the flexibility to move on their own.

"Assassin's Creed Unity" will also come out on Nov. 14, alongside the Rogue. However, Unity will be offered in Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC editions.
