More surprises are in store for fans in season three of the CW's "Arrow."

Earlier news about the DC drama involves the episode that centers around the life of Felicity played by actress Emily Bett Rickards. Producers of the show decided to change the episode's title  from "Oracle" to "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak."

The episode will introduce Felicity's mom, played by former NYPD Blue star Charlotte Ross.

"We've established in the past that mom is a cocktail waitress in Vegas," said executive producer Marc Guggenheim. "She and Felicity are two very different people. Episode five, which is when Felicity's mom comes to town, really deals with the differences between these two women and how much of their relationship is a struggle as a result.

"It's a real challenge for these two people to find some common ground."

Fans will have to stay tuned for the rest of the season to meet Felicity's dad.

"The mystery of who Felicity's dad is probably gets extended more than it gets answered," Guggenheim said.

The producers released a few spoilers about what the viewers should expect in the first episode of the upcoming season.

The synopsis of episode one reads, "In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow."

It means that fans of "Olicity" --that is, Oliver and Felicity-- will have a blast during the first installment of season three.

Watch Arrow Season three airing October 8 on The CW.
