'Arrow' season 3 spoilers: Deathstroke may return to terrorize Oliver, says actor Manu Bennett

Deathstroke, the antagonist who killed Oliver's mother and helped drive his sister away, might return in the third season of "Arrow," according to Manu Bennett, the actor who brought the villainous character to life.  He might come back to terrorize Oliver.

"Realistically, when we talk about storyline, they threw me into a really interesting place, Purgatory. And you know, I'm left at the end, shaking the bars, going, 'I keep my promises, kid.' And I think I meant it. So I don't think that they are just going to let that voice subside into the vast abyss," Comic Book cited Bennett.

However, the actor added that it is too early to tell whether his character will be in the show next season. He said that the production crew said to him that they wanted him back, but details about his return has not been divulged yet.

Meanwhile, it was reported that "Arrow" will have a crossover with "The Flash" on episode 8. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that the episode is entitled "The Brave and the Bold," and the production crew has started filming the episode.

This is confirmed by a tweet posted by the showrunner in Twitter, "Arrow-half of epic Arrow/Flash crossover begins filming today! Co-written by @godfreestories Directed by: @JesseWarn".

On the other hand, the premiere episode will be entitled "The Calm," which signifies that the crime rate in Startling City will not be very high, which will allow Oliver Queen to ask Felicity out on a date. However, it seems that he has let his guard down and will be surprised by the emergence of a new villain named Vertigo, played by Peter Stormare. Felicity will get a part-time job at a tech store.

The premiere episode of the third season of "Arrow" will air on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.
