Cupid (Amy Gumenick) will be the center of attention in the next episode of "Arrow" season 4. Very aptly titled "Broken Hearts," the installment not only marks the show's return from a three-week hiatus. It also sees the comeback of the police officer turned murderous hopeless romantic.

When fans first saw Cupid in the third season of "Arrow," she was head over heels for her fellow skilled archer – Arrow aka Oliver Queen himself. She was prepared to kill innocents just to get the then-vigilante's attention.

In last season's "Arrow" episode called "Suicidal Tendencies," she helped Lyla, Diggle and Deadshot in accomplishing a mission for ARGUS that ended with the death of the abovementioned marksman, whom Cupid was starting to fall for at that time.

When Cupid returns to Star City come "Arrow" season 4 episode 16, the former SCPD police officer will be dealing with a broken heart the way only way she knows how – killing everyone whose fate in love is the opposite of hers.

That being said, Cupid's target will be couples, particularly those who are getting married. She wants to see these lovebirds dead on their wedding day, which is supposed to be one of the happiest days of their lives.

When Team Arrow learns her game plan, Oliver and Felicity, who can now walk again, will act as if they were going to get married to lure Cupid. Their plan hints at where Oliver and Felicity could be in their relationship in "Arrow" season 4.

In the previous "Arrow" installment, viewers will remember that Felicity chose to call off their engagement after learning that Oliver kept his child from her. She left the apartment on her feet, as she earned her ability to walk at that very moment.

"Arrow" season 4 episode 16 "Broken Hearts" airs March 23 at 8 p.m. ET on CW.
