The Archbishop of York with the pilgrims from Seoul outside York Minster

The Archbishop of York welcomed pilgrims from South Korea to York Minster on Monday.

The pilgrims are from the Diocese of Seoul and include the Bishop of Seoul and Primate of Korea, the Most Reverend Paul K Kim.

They are visiting the UK to trace the footsteps of their forefathers and their faith.

The pilgrimage started in London on 24 June and includes visits to cathedrals and other religious sites.

On Monday, they had a time of prayer in the Chapel of St Paulinus, in the crypt of York Minster.  They were joined by Archbishop John Sentamu and the Dean of York, the Very Reverend Vivienne Faull.
