Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2 for Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile in U.S. [leaked schedule]

A schedule for the Android 4.3 update in the United States for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3, S4 and S4 Active have been leaked online.

The purported schedule for the OS update reveals the update schedule for all four major U.S. carriers: Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile.

If the leaked schedule is true, it means that the Android 4.3 update for the Galaxy S4 device on Verizon will be available today. Sprint is scheduled to receive the update on Oct. 30, followed by AT&T on Nov. 13. Galaxy S4 owners on T-Mobile will receive the update last on Nov. 18.

For older Galaxy S3 owners, Sprint will begin to roll out the updates beginning Nov. 6, followed by AT&T on Nov. 13, and Verizon on Nov. 22. T-Mobile will roll out the upgrade for its LTE Galaxy 4.3 models on Nov. 25.

Galaxy Note 2 owners on both Sprint and AT&T should expect their updates on Nov. 20. Verizon customers are slated for a Nov. 29 update, followed by Dec. 2 for T-Mobile.

All software updates will be available over-the-air (OTA).

The Korean tech giant recently announced the new features and changes that the new that the upgrade will bring to the Galaxy line.

Samsung announced details of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade in a press released on Oct. 23, 2013:

Samsung Galaxy S4, S III, and Note II will get the Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) update. For Galaxy S III and Note II, new capabilities provide easier text input, and updated graphics and multimedia, as well as new updates to Samsung features and applications, including:

• Smsung KNOX, a secure and comprehensive mobile solution for enterprises and consumers. (Galaxy S III 3G

version will get Samsung KNOX with a platform security only in select countries.)

• Smart Switch to seamlessly transfer content from other smartphones to Samsung devices

• HomeSync to store, share and enjoy content securely wherever you are

• Group Play 2.5 with shared video support

Samsung also announced that more devices will be compatible with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch through the latest Jelly Bean update.

Galaxy S4 owners in Germany were the first to receive the Android 4.3 update by Samsung this month.
