There is no more freak show because this time, new horrors and scares will be hailing from a hotel that viewers would certainly want to visit. "American Horror Story" will be back for season 5 and it already has a title, "Hotel." A new chapter of the FX thriller will begin in October, with 13 episodes set in stone.

There is also big news about the much bigger changes on the show. It looks like Jessica Lange, who headlined all four seasons of the well-loved anthology, will not be back for another round but someone else is willing to step in and hold the fort.

Just recently, pop sensation Lady Gaga invited her Twitter followers to "make [their] reservations" in "#GagaAHSHotel." The outrageous-styled Grammy award winner has already done much to let the world know about her sensational singing prowess (her "Sound of Music" tribute performance in the 2015 Oscar Awards will resonate for a while, for sure), so it looks like it's time to show off some acting chops.

The "Born This Way" singer will indeed be part of the ensemble. TV Guide believes that she will be top of the bill. However, her participation in "American Horror Story" is top secret and is tightly and strictly cloaked. Nevertheless, this should be something big for the songstress, who took a shot at acting in a supporting role in "Machete Kills" and a small part in an episode of "The Sopranos" season 3.

Fans have been figuring out what the new season will be about. The prevailing theories are the ones that talk about "Operation Top Hat" set in 1950 Nevada, which was plagued by killer biological and chemical experiments. Creator Ryan Murphy has already said that the top hat clues dropped in "Freak Show" were season 5 bombshells.

Interestingly, FX Networks CEO John Landgraf shared that season 5 of "American Horror Story" will be "very different." And by "very different," Vanity Fair surmised that Murphy may go for musical this time. The site went on to back up its claim, citing a 1935 Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers musical love story titled "Top Hat." The classic flick, intriguingly, was set in a hotel.

If that will transpire, "American Horror Story" season 5 will be very different indeed.
