'Amazing Spider-man 3' movie release date sooner than expected?

Will the third installment of the Amazing Spiderman come out sooner than expected?

Such is the word out after a controversial casting call was reportedly made by Bill Beckman Casting on their website. The announcement read that Sony was looking for both male and female extras aged 18 to 65 to star in the Amazing Spiderman 3. The catch is that the call was made over in Atlanta.

Sony Pictures has yet to confirm on whether this call was authentic. To everyone's knowledge, the earliest that we would see (or hear) about the Amazing Spiderman 3 will be in 2018. And that would all depend on whether the film would push through.

After the poor performance of Amazing Spiderman 2 in the box-office, many were skeptical on whether a part 3 would be out or not. Many were not please when the character of Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) was killed off and such could play a key role on how successful future installments would fare in the box office.

Further, there is talk that Marvel Studios may be taking over from Sony Pictures. The two are still in talks but to date, nothing has really been made official.

Aside from the casting call, sketchy details on the possible plot for Amazing Spiderman 3 came out. Andrew Garfield and Dane DeHaan will be around for the third installment where Peter Parker/ Spiderman will face a new challenge to protect the City of New York.

But all of these remain to be rumors, at least for now. Until Sony Pictures or even Marvel releases an official announcement or statement on the validity of this casting call, such can be considered fake or fraudulent. The only thing that is true is that there will be two movies to watch out for in 2016 - an all-female Glass Ceiling and Sinister Six.
