Imagine being on your way to work for one of the most important meetings of your life and then you suddenly get stuck in a traffic jam. Or how about going on a date night with your spouse only to find out that your baby sitter cancelled at the last minute? We all have those days when things don't seem to go our way and one or two small occurrences can ruin everything for us.

If there's one thing circumstances teach us it's that we aren't always in control of the things that happen around us. In fact, we are in control of a very few things in reality. That can too often scare us into a wave of anxiety.

But God reminds us that even when we aren't in control, there is nothing to worry about because He is. Sure days may not always end up ironed out and smooth, but in the midst of chaos we know that there is a God of order out to make all things work together for our good if only we choose to trust in Him instead of trying to gain control when we're obviously out of it. Here are seven scriptures when your day isn't going the way that you planned it to.
