A forthcoming tour from a US Christian hip hop label is hoping to stir up an unashamed pride in the Gospel among the UK’s young Christians.

Reach Records will take four of its acts – LeCrae, Trip Lee, Tedashii and Sho Baraka - to the UK next month for the Unashamed Tour.

The Unashamed Tour, currently making its way across the States, wants to use music to energise and mobilise the UK’s young Christians, as well as reach non-Christians.

It takes as its inspiration Romans 1:16, in which the apostle Paul declares, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.”

Reach Records has collaborated with The Main Room, a part of the Birmingham Christian Centre, to host the tour and also the Unashamed Youth conference.

The conference will bring together speakers from the US and the UK in empowering young people to be unashamed of their calling, unashamed of their belief, and unashamed of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Said Trip Lee: "When I look around and I see the Godlessness of the world we live in I'm heavily burdened to see how much unlike Him most of us are, and without a desire to become more like Him.”

The Unashamed Tour will hit venues at a number of cities, including Birmingham, London and Manchester, from 5 to 11 August and also make a stop at the Soul Survivor summer event.
