Busy season for Planetshakers

The Planetshakers movement that birthed Planetshakers City Church in 2004, the fastest growing church in Australian history, makes its debut on FOX News Channel's "Huckabee" show prior to its first US conference to be held at The Rock Church in San Diego, California, January 17-19. Show host and former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, will interview founders and senior pastors of the church, Russell and Sam Evans, Jan. 12 in New York City. As America's most popular weekend cable news TV show, "Huckabee" will air the interview this Saturday at 8 pm ET and on Sunday, January 13 at 8 and 11 pm ET.

Russell and Sam Evans will also be featured speakers at the Planetshakers Limitless Conference in San Diego that will include compelling messages from speakers Chris Hill, Ben Prescott, Miles McPherson, and Sergio De La Mora, as well as worship music by Planetshakers Band. With thousands anticipated to attend the event in San Diego, and with registration information, schedule and other event details available now at www.planetshakers.com/sandiego, additional participants from around the world that are not able to travel to San Diego will tune in to the conference via a live, two-part webcast/webinar Friday night, Jan. 18. The free event will be streamed worldwide on WorshipStream's platform, and can be watched at bit.ly/PSLIVE, with additional outlets like www.RevTV.com also webcasting the event.

Part one of the webcast begins at 6:30 pm PST, and will be a live interactive interview with Pastor Russell and Sam Evans, Joth Hunt and Mike Webber, each taking questions via Twitter (@Planetshakers and @RussellEvan67) and via Facebook (www.facebook.com/planetshakers). Part two starts at 7:00 pm PST and is a two-hour presentation as it actually happens at the conference's Friday Evening Session.

Announcing the webcast on their social networks last week, Planetshakers has already heard from numerous churches that will be watching as congregations. These churches represent countries on every continent around the world, including England, Philippines, Malaysia, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand and more.

"Through passionate praise and worship, inspirational teaching and powerful acts of the Holy Spirit, it's our desire to create an environment where you can be touched and impacted by God like never before," says Russell Evans about the conference. "Join with us this month from San Diego as we seek God and champion the cause of Christ throughout the earth!"

With 300 people attending its first conference in 1997 in Australia, Planetshakers Conference has grown exponentially and is now Australia's largest youth/young adult movement with tens of thousands joining gatherings at multiple events around the world. Just last month, Planetshakers were received by over 200,000 enthusiastic worshippers at a Christmas celebration Dec. 8 in Jakarta, Indonesia at Bung Karno Stadium. Planetshakers Conference exists to see every person empowered, transformed and equipped to fulfill their God-givendestiny. Just prior to the Planetshakers Limitless Conference, Planetshakers band will release Limitless, a new 13-track CD via Integrity Music. The 25th album from Planetshakers releasing Jan. 14, Limitless features the driving title song that is gathering radio airplay across the nation and became the first music video from the recording, which has already been seen by over 164,000 people.

Recorded live at a Planetshakers Conference earlier this year, Limitless offers up new songs of passionate, vertical praise and sung prayers. "They got me with their powerful sound," says LifterMag.com's reviewer. "I'd describe their sound as a wild mix of Hillsong UNITED, small amounts of Family Force 5 and P.O.D. …Limitless is gonna leave a very positive first impression…" A special feature preview, where you can listen to the entire new album before it releases next week, is also running now at NewReleaseTuesday.com.

Planetshakers is known for writing and recording songs like "Get Up," "Nothing Is Impossible," "Healer," "Beautiful Saviour" and "The Anthem," with a new version of the latter track on the new album. Limitless also features Planetshakers team members Sam Evans (co-founder, worship leader),Joth Hunt (producer/worship leader), Mike Webber (creative director, drummer) and more. Originally formed in 1997 to lead worship for the first Planetshakers Conference held in Australia, Planetshakers Band is passionate about uniting generations worldwide through worship. Their goal is to see people encounter God, be transformed by His presence and empowered to make a difference in their world. While they tour internationally, the team remains based out of Planetshakers City Church, a multi-campus, 8,500-member congregation in Melbourne that is pastored by husband and wife, Russell and Sam Evans.
