2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport: A legend that is built to own the track

Chevrolet is once again releasing a magnificent sports car that was started back in 1963. The 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport belongs to a race-proven bloodline which will have an LT1 performance engine, meaning a 6.2 liter V-8 engine producing a monstrous 460 horsepower, 465 lb-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm, and can reach 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. This is the same engine that is found on the Stingray. EPA fuel economy is at 16 mph on the city and 25 mpg on the highway.

Chevy gave the option to choose from a 7-speed manual transmission with Active Rev Matching that provides a thrilling driving experience or an available 8-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission that always provides a smooth run every time.

Justifiably, it also have large 14.6 /14.4-inch two-piece steel rotor at the front and an available 15.5/15.3-inch carbon ceramic rotors from Brembo that provides the all the braking power it needs; a standard Magnetic Ride Technology suspension system that adapts 1,000 times per second to the road condition and provides an almost bump-free ride; and a lightweight 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that keeps the Grand Sport sticking to the ground.

Since the Corvette Grand Sport has a racing DNA running on its blood, every line and every curve provides a track-ready aerodynamics to it. The exterior design provides enough lift and enough down force to maximize the power of the engine. Every hole on its body were placed there for a purpose, from cooling the engine, the brakes, as well as providing enough airflow to the other vital parts of the vehicle during extreme driving, aside from enhancing its looks.
