Are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar worried about the future of their show on TLC? 

Last week, it was reported that Josh Duggar had molested five young girls back when he was 14, and on Thursday, May 21, the 27-year old released a statement confirming the reports. In the statement, Josh issued a public apology saying that "he acted inexcusably" when he was a teenager. 

His parents Jim Bob and Michelle also issued their own statements to People magazine, saying that what took place years ago was "one of the most difficult times of our lives." They went on to say that they were "shocked" by their eldest son's actions and reminded everyone that they are far from perfect. 

"We are not a perfect family. We have challenges and struggles every day," they said. 

In light of the scandal, TLC has pulled all episodes of "19 Kids and Counting" from its May schedule as the network is now reportedly considering how to proceed given the present situation. The show's season 10 finale aired on Tuesday, May 19. As of May 22, reruns of the show that were scheduled to air at various times for the month have been replaced by other TLC shows, and the network has also released a statement saying that they are "deeply saddened and troubled" by the situation. 

Now, it remains to be seen whether TLC will cancel the show completely or fire Josh to keep the series airing. It has been reported that several sponsors including General Mills, Walgreens, David's Bridal, Payless and other companies have chosen to pull their ads from the show, and although the show's future looks unsure at the moment, a source close to Jim Bob and Michelle told People that the series is the last thing concerning them right now. 

"Right now they're just focused on their faith — and each other," said the insider.

The source revealed that Jim Bob and Michelle know they did the best they could, but it doesn't mean that they're not filled with regret. 

The couple has also taken action to assure fans that all is well in their family. On Thursday, May 28, the Duggar Family Official Facebook page was updated by the Duggars as they posted a throwback photo of two of their daughters. This is the first post on the page since the Duggars posted their official statement regarding the scandal, which was uploaded on the site on May 21.
